I am, somehow, inexplicably and yet also inevitably, sick again this weekend, but I pulled myself off the couch long enough to finally see Uncut Gems and wowowowowow.

I had the same experience of Uncut Gems that I did of Midsommar — riddled with anxiety from the trailer and the hype, unwilling to see it (and honestly I’ll see anything), then finally seeing it at the second-run theater in Bushwick and absolutely loving every second.
