Twice today I’ve been on G trains that are lit in full fluorescent like the rest of the subway and, folks, it is not OK.

It’s just that it’s either very early or at the end of a long day, and I count on my G train to be a little darker than the 7 I’ve just left.

Am I commuting tonight in the same train that carried me to work this morning? Are ALL the G Carriages undergoing this unfortunate transformation?
