Also worth noting that journalists as individuals and as a professional class do a terrible job explaining what their job is and how they do it. The internet creates a new and easy to take advantage of opportunity to increase transparency to solve this, but no bites.

Promise I’m just a reader. Re:edit count:agree. But as former PR pro—I sometimes gamed messaging to “times”, but few appreciate that media pursue stories of all kinds all the time-“timely” article might just be a timely release. Research/recrafting happens often gets lost. $.02
