OK, budget-wise getting trapped in Iceland is not good but as an adventure and an excuse to stay inside and watch a massive storm it is pretty cool. How many people have seen the Iceland Christmas Cat strapped down?
It's not so bad! They'll reimburse the hotel, and some not-small amount of food. And a few bars stayed open.
