Cable is like $100 and they force you to take a land line for some "deal" let's stop kidding ourselves who wants that?

We have Netflix, Amazon prime, and Apple Music. I always wish I had cable when the Olympics are on, and my dad missed sports when he was visiting til he figured out how to sign into his Comcast account on his iPad and now he’s okay.
-
I add Hulu live for about a week during the olympics.

I pay for Netflix and Amazon prime. I just got an HD antenna. That’s it.
-
It was too humid in the house today for the antenna to stick to the wall as it’s supposed to, which is an entirely different conversation.

Also have you watched cable lately? Commercials are awful. How did we all used to watch them?
-
Bathroom breaks then PIP and change channels constantly. Then DVRd everything and fast forward.

Genuinely happy for people who don’t like sports to get to save money now. Because you were paying a lot for it with cable.

Genuinely curious - I indeed know all the streaming services are cheaper than cable tv. But, are all those services *plus* internet-only service still cheaper than a tv/internet bundle?
-
Here’s how ours works out: Hulu: $7/mo Netflix: $16/mo HBO: $15/mo Sling (winter only): $27/mo Gig Internet: $80/mo Total: $155/mo Vs Verizon bundle: $160/mo promo price; up to $195/mo after 6 mo
