just found myself wishing you could have multiple threads under slack messages and that's how i realized my brain is well and truly broken

i also found myself wishing you could block or mute people on slack, which, again, brain broken.

I basically never have my green dot on on slack, but the people who know i'm on it all day already know that. so what purpose does it serve except to make me feel even the slightest bit of a boundary?

What if you could have a "mute all channels except this one" function? or "mute all people except the two i need to get this project done on deadline"?
