It is ridiculous that any number of men high enough to register as a percentage are afraid to be alone with female colleagues for any reason. It is also ridiculous that the tweet that started this thread, from a mainstream news source we should be able to trust, is so wrong.

I wonder if that number includes “unwilling to mentor anyone” since I have met no shortage of folks who think networking type things (any non-paid professional activity) that are unlikely to benefit them are beneath them
