I am willing to accept that there are many kinds of butter knives in the world.

Thank you all for playing along. Tomorrow, we will discuss the salad spinner and Gen X's apparent affinity for it.pic.twitter.com/s3aJsAvCUc

I am a Home Ec teacher. I don’t care if my students can ID a butter knife. I care if they can use any knife safely to prepare food for themselves and others. I care if they know how butter is made and alternatives they can use.

Exactly.

Someone told me a couple of weeks ago that my
@WNYC colleague@alisonstewart used a mandolin during a live show. I said I didn’t know she was a musician. I was corrected.pic.twitter.com/n7KWsXwSNW

Ooh yeah good point, legit cheese knife! I forgot holes but no prongs is also a type (also both holes and prongs, which must be like peak cheese knife?).

You have put more efforts in your research for these tweets, than these guys put in their survey. But they'll probably blame that on the millenials as well.pic.twitter.com/4e6k6hkDqR

Megan's uses for butter knives are as accurate as anyone else's. If it is cutlery in your kitchen, it's yours to use as you see fit. Also, 15 types of wine glass? I need one (1) hole, in the top only thanks, a stem & a bowl large enough to calm me in the first serving. (Gen X)

Has anybody pointed out the insanely obvious fact that as one gets older the better one gets at both cooking AND implement identification?
