The best reason I ever read (from
@and_read) to get a tattoo is because sometimes you don’t control how your body changes and tattoos can make you feel empowered. How many people get to choose their scars? But everyone can choose a tattoo.

I read that very soon after I had a lumpectomy and after I finished treatment I got a tattoo to take my body back.
