I’m absolutely sure it’s great - but not all promotional streams are equal. Alerting on features very often leads to bounce.
That's your value, sure. But it's a big internet and maybe it's not every news org's value, or even every readers'. (Something I'm quite glad for, actually, because I prefer a bunch of folks experimenting on what works for them vs an industry that lines up in the wrong place)

I’m just saying it’s surprised me how common the approach has become when a lot of the data shows some warning signals, especially when there are so many ways of promoting things. And how little conversation there is about it. Which is why it was nice to talk to you :)
