Way back in college when I worked at the movie theater and local mostly retired couple would come to matinees and she always brought her knitting. Said she didn't need light and could do it by touch. We were deeply impressed.

I say mostly retired cause he owned the used bookstore with sometime odd open hours and she owned the yard shop with similarly strange open hours.
