I spent a fair amount of time with both of my (divorced) parents before I bought this house. It was illuminating to see how they got their news.

Mom watches GMA in the morning (with local news cut ins), reads the local paper on her iPad during the day and buys a physical copy on Sundays. She uses FB more than dad and also has a twitter account but is not that active (she gets my tweets delivered to her iPad so hey mom).
