And let me tell you Greenpoint has a LOT of places that want to sell you a $40 hunk of wax that smells vaguely like a tree if you lived in a city that was allowed to have trees, which you'd put on a shelf too guilty to light because surely a $40 candle is for special occasions

I didn't even buy any, I just went from store to store smelling them.
I don't know bit it feels the same way: more lastability than flowers but candles often have a scent plus the flickering flame...
