As cub reporter, wrote about cougars encroaching on our woodsy areas. Used the word "prowl." Irate, nasty woman calls next day, condemns my word choice as biased, claims I'm anti- cougar (I'm an animal lover to the core). Don't know that I ever got a weirder reader complaint.
