Dispirited that a death toll 70 times higher than officially estimated in #PuertoRico is relegated to A13 in the @nytimes and met with a shrug, yet there is non-stop coverage of celebrities and trivialities. As we head into another, potentially disastrous, hurricane season.
The news from Puerto Rico is often heartbreaking. But to say the NYT has abdicated covering it ignores a lot of important work by @FrancesRobles and many others who've been on the ground there in the last year.
