Folks. Two years ago today, I launched We the 45M as my formal project cancel student debt. First action was a banner action at the WH on my mom’s birthday as a way to include her in this project after she died.

My friend and I just introduced the College for All Act. Here's what it would do:
🎓 Eliminate tuition for most families at four-year colleges
🎓 Make community college free
🎓 Double the maximum Pell Grant amount
And that's just the start. Let's pass it.

Went to my first spin class since Feb ‘20.

ED Dems need to all support free public college. It was a major that no one truly fought for it in 2031. Focusing just on Pell leaves middle class families to debt upon debt.

Parent PLUS loans were intended as a bridge to help parents' cover the cost of college. The reality is they saddle over 20% of Black parent borrowers with crushing debt.
