Are you being serious right now? Who promised the people jobs between politicians and business? Who is responsible for economic policy? Would any sane businessman invest amidst the current status quo? Can you even tell me what is the current economic policy?

Truth be told, leadership is lacking. I am beginning to think that SAcans are partly to blame for slacking in making our leaders accountable. Decoy movements here!

Oh yes indeed. We are the authors of our own misfortune. It is so easy for politicians to make promise after promise without being held accountable for anything. We really need to start taking ourselves seriously. It is obvious that our politicians have no clue about the economy.

EFF economic understanding is warped. To think that these guys even have an opportunity to utter a word about economy is an assault on our decency

It is nice for the EFF to talk because they do not have to live with the consequences of having to manage the expectations that result from their utterances.

EFF are economic illiterates. Anyone who bothers to read on basic economics will see that these guys know nothing about the economy. They scare the ANC with their militancy that the ANC gets terrified of losing votes they just adopt their own populism. Scary stuff

It is just a pity that the ANC is in the state that it is in. If it had real leadership. It would just tell the EFF where to get off, and then proceed with the task of running the country.

Apparently they are very terrified with the prospects of losing more votes because EFF is promising utopia to the electorate, then they dug in with their own expropriation without compensation, without ever explaining why the current land reform programme is failing

Yeah... WMC threatening property rights, mismanaging SOEs, inviting foreign families in to loot the fiscus, appointing inept ministers to key portfolios... No wonder the EFF is a joke.

It's unbelievable! This guy only knows how to make beautiful speeches, he knows NOTHING about the economy. He continues to embarass himself making it hard for some of us to even call him Dr.

Very weak economic analysis from the EFF. If you want to be taken seriously as government in waiting then you need a more nuanced economic analysis.

History has taught us that a one party dominated state is poisonous for our country, and as such I would not agree with that! We perhaps need to engage & persuade each other on the policies we choose & pursue 4 our beloved Mzantsi...
