    dropped my earbud case and both buds fell out. One went down a storm sewer grate. with a stick and some duct tape, I was able to retrieve it. Today was a good day.

    here's a great thread on any discussion about states seceding... but really, about our current political divide.

    M'kay. Here's the thing about the Republican base and Southern Secession. The Civil War was 160 years ago. States could be more or less sorted into Slave vs Free. A clear geographic line of demarcation existed. Were there abolitionists in the South? Sure, a few. 1/

    This is crazy. January 6th was an assault on our democracy- officers who defended OUR COUNTRY can't get their elected officials to state that. I'll say it, time and again; 1-6-21 was an attack on our nation. Police were heroes in their efforts to stop it.
