I am still 14k in debt, I struggle to get by, having people pay higher taxes to make up for my stupid decision when I was 18 to go to college for a degree that was not profitable is not fair. Punishing people for joining the labor force early is bad policy, they work hard.

Or, in my case: -took out loans, studied an employable major, got a job, worked to earn MONEY in which I used a portion of to pay back my student loans until they ceased to exist. For reference I grew up poor as dirt, played in it, too. Also, I'm technically a millennial.

I owe more than I want to say on my student loans. Even working full-time as a nurse I barely make enough to pay all my bills. But I entered a contractual obligation with the lender, and I will honor that. I oppose

We need both. Debt cancellation and UBI. Otherwise UBI is just a bandaid
