Someone tweeted to me that my father “didn’t offend people.” At the time Daddy was killed, a poll reflected that he was the most hated man in America. Most hated. Many who quote him now & use him to deter justice would likely hate him too if they truly studied .

The NRA thinking: "They're just kids. They'll get all excited about their proms or their Facebook walls or something; maybe some new singer or fashion trend. Don't worry. They'll forget." Not this time.

After Wakanda fever dissipates, i need us to rally behind with like we did with this movie. Do all the crowdfunding to buy out theaters, make social media buzz, write all the think pieces. Let's uplift our sister like we did our brother.

The Dora Milaje are a fierce all female army in the Marvel film Black Panther...but many people are unaware that they are based partially off a real all women army in Africa called the Dahomey Amazons, at one time considered the most feared women in the world.

Oh hai - New Zealand here, we get all your video games and movies. But we don’t massacre children in their classrooms. It must be something else.

You need to stop whatever you’re doing and watch this. “We are going to be the kids you read about in textbooks. We are going to be the last mass shooting.” - Emma Gonzalez

On Friday, April 20th we want students to attend school and then promptly WALK-OUT at 10:00 am. Sit outside your schools and peacefully protest. Make some noise. Voice your thoughts. "We are students, we are victims, we are change."

This is Jacob. In June of 2016, he comforted those affected by the Pulse nightclub shooting in Orlando. Four months ago he flew to Vegas to help families of 58 people grieve. Today, he is in Parkland, Florida hugging students who lost classmates yesterday. He is our third 15/10

I was hiding in a closet for 2 hours. It was about guns. You weren't there, you don't know how it felt. Guns give these disgusting people the ability to kill other human beings. This IS about guns and this is about all the people who had their life abruptly ended because of guns.

We don’t have to live in a country where school shootings are normal. We don’t have to live in a country where ICE is tearing apart families. We don’t have to live in a country where food stamps are slashed. It doesn’t have to be this way. It shouldn’t be this way.

The United States is not #1 in much. Not education, not healthcare, not economic equality, none of that. We're #1 in mass shootings and mass incarceration. It's not even close. That's where we lead. This is what we're the best at.
