?I wonder if the model could somehow integrate Apples TrueDepth camera. I’m sure there isn’t much exposed via API tho..

It would have to either estimate a 3D face from a 2D painting to generate the training data, or one would have to train an intermediate model that tries to infer 3D from 2D using the TrueDepth data.
