    This from a state news agency is a rare firsthand account of what people go through before coming within breathing distance of Putin: 2-week quarantine in Kremlin-run hotel; food in plastic containers left outside your room; exit only with FSO permission

    Putin says Bellingcat's investigation into Navalny's poisoning is "a way to legalize material from western secret services" and claims that "the Berlin patient" is supported by the CIA. This seems to be a tacit acknowledgement that the info about the FSB tracking him is legit.

    Putin is mostly fielding questions about the rough economic situation and spiraling coronavirus epidemic. But this all appears to be part of a script – one “volunteer” who asked him a question was on his call-in two years ago
