Retail has been in trouble for years on high streets from Newbury St in Boston to Madison in NYC to SF, Seattle, and beyond. Covid put a nail in it. Now for creative rebirth. It will be different.

US has had massive retail overcapacity for years. Amazon accelerated a correction, as has COVID - everywhere. SF had homeless issues 25 years ago when @maxrogo and I were there; shame that hasn’t improved, but it’s a side issue re retail.
