In music production you eventually learn/discover all these earwormy tricks like, "Don't fade by reducing the volume, fade by narrowing the spectrum." Which podcasts use these tricks? (Radiolab, ...) What earwormy tricks do podcast producers eventually learn/discover?
I was also reflecting during the episode on "Q&A" style raw conversations vs 99%i/journalism podcasts that interpolate interviewee responses with narrative addressed to the listener. At points the Orca interview flowed very much like the latter, and had a cool effect!

99pi is gold. Radiolab often knocks me out of my chair. The Panic podcast is doing the form well too (if you're an old Mac head like me who cares about Panic). I'd love to do more shows like that, if the (upcoming) Patreon does well. They take so much more effort.
