Im so thankful that they listened to the community
Today is so promising, they made a decision clearly for the quality of the game over a better release date. Activision has done nothing in the past 4 years at least to think they would do that, hopefully a sign of more things to come.

I dont think the community had ANYTHING to do with this being delayed. Blizzard devs probably couldn't see 2 feet in front of them they were so swamped trying to get this out on time

You don’t give a release date if you can’t plan 2 month ahead... This is not a small indie company.

Anyone with their ear to the ground in regards to beta at all could see this was necessary. This is a good thing for all players because we’ll get a better quality expansion out of it. I’m sure the corporate politics around this added a lot of time to the decision.

what do you think they should do about the launch day @maximumwow? Launching the game too close to the end of the year may be bad for more semi-hardcore guilds, and for the players in general. What is the correct play here?
