I can see this point but playing devil's advocate... It's prob worst than Master Loot since you feel like the item is yours since it would go in your bags and then you'd have to give it away.

I'd say it would feel worse on a personal level but for the group it would be better. Losing out on an item you want always feels bad regardless of system.
