Embody > Aeron IMO. I bought both 6 months ago and returned the Aeron because the bottom part has an awkward plastic piece that sometimes makes it uncomfortable on your legs/thighs.

They're pretty different and one is usually markedly more comfortable than the other for most people. I'd really recommend demoing them both first if you can

I have both and the Embody is way more comfortable as a day to day chair. Less plastic on your skin, more cushion, etc. the Aeron is more of a task chair in that it’s more rigid.

I have both the Embody and Logitech Embody in my house and the new Logitech is better in terms of comfort/padding and it doesn’t have all the creaking issues some ppl experience on regular embody

I have an Aeron at work and an Embody at home. In short, the Embody is more comfortable and the Aeron has more adjustments. I’d personally spend the extra $$ for an Embody. I can answer specific questions if you have any.

I went with a Leap v2 over it, but you can’t go wrong with the Aeron.

I’d strongly recommend just finding an office supply place that had all the Herman Miller, Steelcase, etc. chairs so you can get a feel for them yourself. I personally hate the Aeron but many people love it. Most luxury office chairs have very similar overall features.

+1 to this. Let your butt decide.
