It blows my mind that people describe waking up in the morning as being “ready to go” especially on less than 8 hours sleep. I feel like I’m legit fighting a demon to get out of bed, even at my healthiest.

Tobacco and caffeine. I wake up, throw a dip in, chug a Xyience while I take a cold shower. 3-4 hours of sleep and I feel fantastic. Try it out.

I am exactly the same, I need 8 hours minimum or I don't feel good, with the big exception of progress, but there's the adrenline there and I could just play with 4-5 hours sleep and be fine/focussed even for a month straight.

I feel the same on progress with like 3 hrs sleep or 8 hrs. I fel so mentally fatigued after like day 2 that i'm pretty much just a husk all of the time

As you get older the amount of sleep you need goes way down, I am coming up on my 37th birthday and if I get around 5-6 hours of sleep that is MORE than enough.

When I was working I used to work 8 hours a day doing basically manual labor on like 4-5 hours of sleep. It was ROUGH.

Have you read "Miracle Morning" by Hal Elrod? Totally changed my life lol. Went from waking up last minute around 8 am every morning to 5 am and feeling energetic and productive the whole day. Doesnt have to be 5 am though
