Also I am a complete husk of a human being all day with less than 8 hours of sleep. If you feel awake and refreshed with 5 hours of sleep we’re just built different or something.

Get a sleep test. Might be apnea. CPAP changed my life.

Same, that machine is a life changer.

Man once you have kids (if ever) it completely changes your psyche for sleeping. My wife was once a deep 10-12 hour a night sleeper now she gets by with 5-6 waking up a lot too.

I totally feel you, whether I sleep 6 hours or 10 hours, I will still be completely destroyed by the time I wake up. But when I decide to go to bed I fall asleep within 5-10 minutes no struggle

I generally go to bed between 1-2 Am and wake up at 6:50. I’ve been doing this for about 6-7 years. I found that the more I slept the more I desired to sleep. With training your body will naturally require less to function.

What you think is your healthiest is probably not enough. Are you regularly doing weight training/cardio three time a week+? Drinking 100oz+ of water a day? Eating clean? If so then
@JasonBWLake is probably right and you might have something medically wrong like apnea. -
Sub 10% body fat gym 7 days a week drinking a lot of water obviously. Not a question of health. It’s been constant throughout great health and not as great
