If you’re considering leveling multiple of the same class, regardless of how punishing they make covenants, don’t. You’ll hate it and you’re better off just leveling other classes you want to play. It will probably scarcely be done even by the top guilds.
Most overblown complaint about shadowlands. Ask anyone who leveled 3-4x their main in legion. You HATE playing your mirror alts after one of your characters is better. Not to mention the power gain of your best legendary was way more than your best covenant is other than yours
the entire argument is not about whether or not it's fun and you'll like it, it's that it's absurd that it's the case that if you want to theoretically be optimal on ur class in a given situation, you can't do that one the same warrior

With the likelihood of items being given out slower, it seems unlikely that your 4th class with the "right" covenant would be better than if you just focused all your attention on your main anyway.

Can agree. I did this in bfa cause in friend is alliance and I hated that character cause I had worse azerite, neck, essences, ect. Switched classes on alliance and had way more fun
The problem I have is about off spec-big. If I main disc and go kyrian with kleia then if shadow doesn’t benefit well from kyrian I’m playing suboptimally and I don’t like that at all
