The issue with whether or not it is much less punishing then they allude to, to swap back, is that I just want to stick to a covenant for the aesthetics, story and RPG of a given covenant, instead of having to lose all of those from boss to boss, spec to spec, content to content.
I think we need to wait and see how harsh the covenant swapping thing ends up being when they implement it. I still really feel like they need to implement the changes they said they would consider with gcd's as far as which ones are egregious enough. Also the target cap is bad

If it’s similar to the artifact respec then it’s bearable garbage They are seemingly using the conduit system to alleviate the really big offenders like DK with the increased CD duration Target cap is their flawed solution to a problem they fail to really recognize

I think having a 24 hour CD on swapping Covenants is good.

I think a system were you can have dual spec covenants. where you can actually join/support 2, but with caveats on switching soulbinds/active covenant talent (a cooldown, must activate it at soulbind console)

I’m still just not sure why the covenants can lend us their abilities during leveling, but they’re so exclusive at 60 we have to write off the other 3 to lock in the one.
