Currently other tanks are stronger, have more raid utility, multiple classes bring roar and they have no place unless they are the strongest tank by 10-15% at the highest level @WarcraftDevs

I think Guardians class design should lean on shapeshifting when not tanking. Make them the best tank ST in cat form and the best tank raid healing when not tanking. This leans in to their design aspects of shifting form and makes them have a niche that is useful.

Wouldn't you just always bring one then unless you needed a specific tank for a strat? If Guardian was the best ST in Ny'alotha, wouldn't Naowh have been one over DK simply just for more raw damage?

How would this work in M+? I agree that something needs to be done with them as they're not looking great on beta right now though. Hopefully they're doing something in the background.

This would be so fun, but wouldnt that make guardian druids mandatory for every raid? Or does the utility from other tanks negate that?

It depends on the raid boss. On some bosses like DPS walls they would definitely be used alot. But there's also a lot of bosses where you would prioritise utility over dps. Right now they're pretty much useless
