might be in the minority but I have 0 problem with the 5% spell variance. Gotta pick battles, that is NEVER going to matter over the course of a fight, if anything i agree that philosophically rng bad/skill good thing but this just isnt important enough to widely complain about

It’s just weird

Maybe not a pull, but a competitively timed dungeon at the highest level; you of all people know they come down to the wire, and 1% either way due to random damage differences is going to matter at least once. That's the issue. It never should.

Never over the course of a 10+ minute dungeon would this ever matter. Is crit bad too then? Some variance is fine this will literally never matter

Why are people just assuming the 5% variance is only a nerf? Isn't it +/- 5%? If one time a spell hits for 95 and the second it's 105, it averages 100. This change is literally a non issue and not worth the division. We need to focus on the real issues here.

In high rated arena, that spell variance matters alot. Saving ur cds till the last second in close games matters, and variance will heavily impact this, and before u call me bad, I have been r1 or glad on at least 1 of my 3 classes since mop s14

What does last second matter for. Spells will still average 100, only in extreme cases will they average 102+
