all the stupid memes in the responses aside, I understand this take, but it a) creates a false equivalence between the two and b) sort of ignores the fact that 'quieter' protests have been going on for a while and nothing's really gotten a whole lot better.
Ya I totally get that last part. Clearly the shit is fucked up, just wouldn’t wanna be a dude who didn’t do anything wrong and get his entire life burned down in collateral damage

Sort of similar to the insane amount of people who do nothing wrong and get harmed by police abusing their powers? Maybe that's the demonstration...maybe?

But this isn't a demonstration anymore, it's just mindless destruction. Did you know a black bar owner lost his entire business to the rioters and looters? Another had $17k stolen from him. My heart hurts for George, but acting this way isn't going to get the change they want. :(
