The reason im asking is my thoughts are if you're a new streamer or someone really looking to grow it's in your best interest to run ads so you can disable pre-rolls. running regular ads are more controlled and gives someone a chance to watch you.

Depends. If it's someone I regularly watch I stay, if I was just tuning in for the first time I tend to lose interest and leave.

Okay I’m actually with this instead

If it is someone I haven't watched before and I get an ad I just go watch someone else

I'm usually always doing multiple things, but if I try to tune into someone and I get the good ol' double ad I just close the tab.

Since I’m already being tracked, play ads relevant to me. I don’t care that HungryBox wats Campbell soup, or about keeping Bounty rolls at my desk.

Generally I mute the stream/do something else for two minutes then tune back in. I am okay with ads existing to pay people but I am not interested in being advertised to.

Watch the ad, but I'm not gonna lie, 30-second preroll ads before I can watch a stream feel so frustrating. It's caveman thinking from Twitch.

Have ad block most of the time but when I don't I usually leave unless I'm watching the streamer for something specific. If I'm just browsing I dip
