After fucking around with all of them for 2 hours the min maxing of the insect blade is drawing me in. Also like daggers and the swordaxe

Insect Glaive feels the most fluid imo, also rewards you tremendously for good buff management

Make sure to watch a video guide on the weapons you want to learn. There are a dozen more combos and actions for each weapon than what the game will show you in training.

The charge blade takes a bit too get used to but owns pretty hard once you figure out it. Same with sword and shield

Swordaxe (charge blade) is sick so good plus multiple play styles with savage axe / saed spam it’s sick also guard pointing is fun (counters)

Max, mhw is one of the best recent games, give it a chance even if you not feeling it at first, wait till you start fighting the real monsters, imho the gunlance and hunting horn r the most fun weapons after u master the different types,along with the hammer, insect glaive, bow,
