I think my best case scenario in legion is that they are still hard to get at the beginning but there was a vendor that at least allowed you to target one specific legendary you really wanted and could get before nighthold. This argument also applies to corruption

I'd say a vendor, but perhaps where the drops are similar to start of Legion, but they drop a token so you can exchange it for whichever leggo you prefer? Tough to say without having seen it, of course; but most issues feel like it came from the RNG of getting a shitty/great one

Vendor equipment being pieces towards BiS, locked behind reputation that's farmable or obtained via running dungeons/raids and mobs available in the world. Daily/world quests that also help. Basically remove the 6 week daily grind for reputation and make vendor items worthwhile.

Probably a system where you have a few bis that you can work towards doing weekly stuff , while also being able to drop some for the rng aspect of the game, idk

I made the regrettable decision to switch mains after Nighthold. Even with one or two usable legendaries beforehand, I didn’t receive every legendary for my new main spec until Antorus. I don’t know how they expected anyone who began the expansion at Tomb of Sargeras to function.

Vendors, always vendors. Let me plan ahead, thats why i love wrath. Yes, the vendors werent perfect by any means, but letting me gear up using a currency esp early game was a good mechanic and then hella good for alts esp since old content was still relevant :)

As long as like 90% of their class design work goes into rental power, they should be extremely accessible Whatever budges them closer to the mindset of "if they're this easy to come by, why don't we just enhance base classes like we used to instead of tacking on systems"

I think vendor from the start makes it a tad boring cuz everyone gets the exact same. BUT I 100% prefer that to 100% random drop. Its hard to find something in between, maybe choose between 3 or something? But it has the chance of being 3 crap ones.

Available at beginning. I literally boosted a 2nd mage cuz my first legendary on the first one was the stupid chest, while my 2nd mage got fire bracers first.

The timing in legion felt a bit better and legendaries were there from the start. Not introduced in a tier. Having some sort of bad luck protection makes the weekly chest of disappointment a little less torture.
