Make arcane give the 2instacast buff and 4 charges, so you can have it in the opener and not have to decide if you want to use it now or save it for 40seconds into a fight and you can do both even though the adds will be dead already anyway

It’s still going to feel slower and clunkier. I’d much rather see CDs go on a half-GCD like when you shapeshifter or change stance. It’ll be easier to balance but still feel fast and micro-intensive. Blizz still seems to not get it. Also they’ll probably forget like 20 abilities.

They also have to actually change the other abilities. All of them.

I have 0 faith in them to come up with something interesting enough to offset having the source ability be on GCD They just need to give in and revert. Literally every single good change in Shadowlands is because players advocated for them, rather than devs having a clue

This is de DH situation. Metamorphosis is an amazing example of a cooldown. You press it you jump transform stun, damage, DO SOMETHING and then start your rotation. Wings on the other hand, you press it, nothing happens you have to wait GCD and then start rotation.

I feel like making the ability actually do something pertinent to its effect would go a long way. I.e. the blade flurry change Ascendance casts a Lava Burst/storm strike at your target Rapture casts a shield on the lowest HP member within X yds Etc.
