  Reworking the CDs that are on the GCD but are non impactful in terms of gameplay (look mirror images) so they do interact with your kit in some way is a solution to keeping the CD while not removing GCD or removing spell.

  If every CD was cool and fun like Meta and they rolled boring shit like Symbols of Pain into more interesting CDs, I could see them being on the GCD. They definitely haven't done that though, so they should just take throughput CDs off the GCD
