My problem with it is they still haven't learned from every other system. All they need to do is give an option, currency or whatever, so that rng isn't the ONLY option.

I like the corruption system itself tbh, the kiss/curse system on gear is a great idea imo - however, having OP very strong passive spells firing off out of your control is not fun; and corruption randomly applying on gear just makes it RNG on top of RNG; passive buffs r fine tho

It’s interesting that they didn’t give us an option to have Wrathion “experiment” with the corruption and allow us to corrupt a good item with one of the currencies that they added this patch. Why does everything need to be so damn random?

I got 2 pieces of loot with corruption this reset and I've had to sim atleast 30 times just to figure out what gearset with what corruptions and non corruptions is good for me, fuck this game.

I like the idea of balancing good traits with a bad effect. That IDEA is cool, but the corruption effects in a) how you get them and b) their wildly "swingy" nature and how some corruption supersedes everything else on a piece of gear, is fucking nuts.
