I think this is a catch 22. Make tanking too much fun and nobody wants to dps or heal. Don’t change it and tanks are scarce. Personally I enjoy being able to join a group quickly because I play all roles, but I’m often forced to tank.
I hope you’re right. I like the responsibility of playing a tank and setting the pace in dungeons. I just don’t know what blizzard could change to make them more enjoyable. I was in hiatus during MOP/WOD but heard of the degen playstyle vengeance created.
Literally every tank loved that degen playstyle because it was fun
