In the clip the point I was trying to make was people are usually bad at multiclassing do having them play something else is more harm than good and just in general lower ranked GMs wanting to just do what the top guilds do. hilarious responses thohttps://www.reddit.com/r/CompetitiveWoW/comments/edit1u/max_class_balance_doesnt_matter_outside_of_the/ …

" and even a shit hpal alt will compete with a mistweaver main." - Someone in the thread, and it has a bunch of upvotes. I actually don't understand how people can think your perspective is wrong Max, I guess low ranking players ego's were hurt and really want to prove you wrong.

It’s just the nature of class discords and that subreddit, the people who are “the guys” there are terrified of being wrong. It’s like getting technique advice from a NBA player or a high school coach who has never played but thinks he knows everything

IDK about NBA but in Football (or Soccer as you Americans call it) there have been a lot great players that later became coaches. most of them where bad. Some where good, but those who were great coaches also have been the very rare exception. Many of the best Coaches never where

star players. Often they were just supporting players or even just played in mid tier or second to third division clubs. There are even more top coaches who never played at a professional level than those who have been star players before. Just because you are a great player

doesn't mean you are good at explaining the game or even understanding it on a higher level. Not saying this applies to you, but usually a high school coach who had proper training to teach should be the better suite than a professional who doesn't has that background

I usually state the sports argument and say “this isn’t a great example, but”. The entire point was in wow you’re going to find the best info on average from passionate high level players. Not from 6/8 heroic raiders, that explanation supports exactly that

I mean the best way to play a class can be mathematically proven in every situation. It just usually isn't done due to the effort it would take. And obviously nobody plays perfect. But there is some stuff that is worse than other stuff. Usually people higher up get it right more

often than those lower down the ranks, but those who do the math will almost always be closest to the reality. Wow is mechanically more challenging than Heartstone or something like that, and more often than not mistakes come down to mechanical failure than knowledge.

Ya but this has nothing to do with math on talents. It has to do with the human element of playing things they’re not comfortable with. There is no math in that
