I usually state the sports argument and say “this isn’t a great example, but”. The entire point was in wow you’re going to find the best info on average from passionate high level players. Not from 6/8 heroic raiders, that explanation supports exactly that
I mean the best way to play a class can be mathematically proven in every situation. It just usually isn't done due to the effort it would take. And obviously nobody plays perfect. But there is some stuff that is worse than other stuff. Usually people higher up get it right more
often than those lower down the ranks, but those who do the math will almost always be closest to the reality. Wow is mechanically more challenging than Heartstone or something like that, and more often than not mistakes come down to mechanical failure than knowledge.
