In the clip the point I was trying to make was people are usually bad at multiclassing do having them play something else is more harm than good and just in general lower ranked GMs wanting to just do what the top guilds do. hilarious responses thohttps://www.reddit.com/r/CompetitiveWoW/comments/edit1u/max_class_balance_doesnt_matter_outside_of_the/ …

" and even a shit hpal alt will compete with a mistweaver main." - Someone in the thread, and it has a bunch of upvotes. I actually don't understand how people can think your perspective is wrong Max, I guess low ranking players ego's were hurt and really want to prove you wrong.

It’s just the nature of class discords and that subreddit, the people who are “the guys” there are terrified of being wrong. It’s like getting technique advice from a NBA player or a high school coach who has never played but thinks he knows everything

IDK about NBA but in Football (or Soccer as you Americans call it) there have been a lot great players that later became coaches. most of them where bad. Some where good, but those who were great coaches also have been the very rare exception. Many of the best Coaches never where

This is why the analogy is bad. Coaching sports = intellect, playing sports = physical dominance(while obviously smarts also being involved). Being good at pve wow is entirely experience and knowledge, mechanical skill isn’t as important. The best players = the best teachers
