U still had to have 3-4 rogues at least for avatar and KJ if only for the soaks.
So we got banned that raid and took off 17 days so we only got world 11th or something but we did it with 2 rogues and almost sat our second one for other reasons. It wasn’t required at all even world top 10
iirc even druids could solo soak on avatar everytime(maybe after a nerf?). dh/dk were good for it aswell.
Warlocks could as well. The point isn’t that it’s an absolute necessity but the difference between progressing with “optimal” comps or not are still huge especially for cheesing mechanics or healer/tanks.
