My bank unironically wants me to fax them permission to send me my new debit card. Anyone know if any ancient technology museums have fax machines for sale

Guys obviously anyone can figure out how to send a fax either through a store or on your phone in one google search. It’s just requiring that in 2019 is insane

Not really. It's a safe way to transmit a document with an "original" signing. Alot of banks/ credit institutes still rely on it.

We still use fax because it runs on a phone line and not the internet. If the internet or network connection goes down we still need to operate. Alot of banks dont use open emails due to INFOSEC policies.

The industry I’m in requires faxes on a daily basis. Thank god for efax services that allow you to “fax” through email!
