if the wow experience is a spectrum, classic and tournament realms are opposite ends of it classic ignores competition (e.g. arena, mythic raiding, m+) to focus on the mmorpg, where TR ignores the mmorpg (i.e. char progression) to focus on competition pls give us TR too

Prepping as many characters as you guys do definitely sucks. I do actually think there is a differentiation between putting MDI / AWC on the Tournament Realm and putting the RWF on the Tournament Realm. Your opinion is 100% valid though.
Well the main reason is that the RWF isn’t technical sponsored by blizzard, although as of recent they do lend support when they can. They have mentioned tourney realms but said it would be hard to support without them owning it. Obviously we will make way less money doing that

So the only reason I even hold the opinion I do is because all Arena players had seasonal access to TR a while ago and then they just all stopped playing the ladder all together. That would be my concern. Obviously the TR is the best for competitive integrity though.
