if the wow experience is a spectrum, classic and tournament realms are opposite ends of it classic ignores competition (e.g. arena, mythic raiding, m+) to focus on the mmorpg, where TR ignores the mmorpg (i.e. char progression) to focus on competition pls give us TR too

I think TR for raiding opens up a lot of issues too though. It like disassociates players from the live game events more and who really is to say what guilds deserve to be on the TR vs not.
Isn’t this already what a lot of the better players on good teams do for MDI? There basically isn’t a requirement to get on it, and a lot of players at this point in the expansion would never do live keys

Prepping as many characters as you guys do definitely sucks. I do actually think there is a differentiation between putting MDI / AWC on the Tournament Realm and putting the RWF on the Tournament Realm. Your opinion is 100% valid though.

Well the main reason is that the RWF isn’t technical sponsored by blizzard, although as of recent they do lend support when they can. They have mentioned tourney realms but said it would be hard to support without them owning it. Obviously we will make way less money doing that
