  It will be changed once people who buy new xpac and boost a 120 realize it takes them 5-7 weeks to get all their essences and that you can’t play now with your friends because of it

  I feel like they gave up on fixing the rest of this expac and are just looking toward the new one. They will 8.3 for the new raid and then a pre-expac patch for a prep and then that’s it. Pre-expac patch will probably get rid of essences.

  Apparently the only change they are looking to make with essences is lower rep requirements at the moment. At least thats what the wowhead article says.
