There is actually nothing wrong with the defensive aspects of vengeance, the same with resolved in the next expansion. They did away with that and added each tank a way to self heal that mostly worked across the board. Then they just gutted all of it.

There is literally nothing intriguing about the gameplay back in BC where the tank literally had one cool down and just needed to get spammed by two healers. That made the game not fun for three people. They have made great strides in tanking, looks like that’s going away.
